So yes it was a few weeks ago but I really need to talk a little bit about my experience at the Casual Blogging Conference.
I started this blog in February 2010. I was really looking to do something that I enjoyed doing. Which is writing. I have had a private family blog for about 2 and half years and kind of wanted to do something a little different. I wanted to still talk about being a mom, and crazy things that go on in my life. but I wanted to meet other bloggers and do alot more writing. Thus Living The scream was born.
A little while later I heard about the CBC and knew it would be a really good experience for me! It so was! I felt so comfortable there even though I am a new blogger. There wasn’t any snobbiness with other bloggers who have been doing it a lot longer than me at all. I learned so much! and really enjoyed myself.
It was fun to meet some of the bloggers who I had started to really enjoy reading.
I first met Rachel from Trapped between a scream and a hug
She was SO nice to me! It’s funny we actually went to Jr. High together! What a small world! It was so nice to have at least someone there I had met before! Even though that was forever ago. I hope I didn’t follow her around too much lol It did get easier to get out of my bubble and say hello to people eventually!
I had really wanted to meet Charlotte from Memories For Later and
Alexis from One Cluttered Brain They have been so nice to me online. they always comment on my blog and are just really great people. this is true in person as well!! I wish I took some pictures. But you can see cute pictures of them on their blogs!
It was also fun meeting Crash test Dummy Diaries. She has the cutest hair and was so nice. I love her blog. Also 2 fun blogs I did not know before the conference were T from You Asked For it She is really fun I particularly love the comment she left me in my last post lol, and my Last link of the day is Tauna from Welcome to the Garden of Egan Who was particularly lucky at winning the coolest prices and then giving them away on her blog. How nice is that?
the Classes were amazing and the people teaching them were so knowledgeable! I am really glad I went. It taught me so much. I hope to apply all the stuff I learned and keep blogging for a very long time.
