Our One and Only Daddy’s Choice Weekend.

So because of the close proximity of my Husbands birthday and Fathers day we decided to let him have his way for a change.

He decided that we would all go see a movie of his choice followed by one night of camping in a tent. Although we had a really good time I don’t think Camping, and a one year old, and 40 degree weather at night mix well. I am still exhausted. We camped in Manti Utah to see the Mormon Miracle pageant which was really neat and so Beautifully surrounded by the Manti Temple.

On the way there we went to a movie. My husband decided on Karate Kid. Yes, we took my 3 girly girls to karate kid. I wounder if before this they even thought movie theater’s showed anything but movies about princesses because that is usually what we see.

The thing that got me frustrated was I had to pay for admission for my 14 month old! I don’t remember having to do this before. I looked at her and told her I expected a complete review of the movie when it was over to make her ticket worth it. She decided to sleep instead.

My daughters actually enjoyed the movie. I will not underestimate them again. It’s nice that everything does not have to be pink and girl filled for them to like it. Even though they said there favorite part of the movie was the only girl featured.

I love that my husband introduces them to things he likes as well as things they like. Its fun looking over at all of them doing things that their dad loves like watching the world cup all cuddled together. It’s nice that it doesn’t always always have to be tea parties and barbies.

    >I went to a theater that did that. Only once, we found somewhere else after that.
