I have not had the best luck in the teeth department in my life. Between crowns and root canals an over bite and the brilliant idea when I was about ten years old to let my dog pull me on roller blades that caused me to fall and chip a tooth, I really have seen it all. The fact that my chipped tooth is now fake and sits farther out then my other teeth is not one of my favorite things. It’s amazing how less confident it can make you when you don’t love your smile.
My eight year old daughter has also been a life long thumb sucker. So I know that this is something I need a solution for now as well as to think about for her in the future.
When wondering what to do to fix the problem, almost everyone has you thinking traditional metal braces are a must. There is a current option that has me greatly intrigued and wanting to know more. That option is Invisalign.
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom made series of aligners created for you and only you
Invisalign can effectively treat many of the same conditions that used to only require metal braces.
This is also a product that is removable! That is amazing to me. It can be removed whenever needed so you can brush your teeth and maintain good dental health.
There is also an Invisalign product that is designed specifically for teens.
Here are some of the benefits of the Invisalign Teen treatment.
It gives teens a great smile—Invisalign Teen helps your teen feel confident in their smile and themselves.
It fits teens’ busy lives—the aligners are comfortable and durable, so it’s easy for teens to continue their favorite activities such as playing sports and musical instruments that can be challenging or uncomfortable with traditional metal braces.
I love all of these reasons. The benefits to having something that can fix your teeth but to not have all the downsides that traditional braces seem to have is great.
I enjoyed learning more about this product and hope you do as well.
