Shout officially graduated from preschool last Saturday and this was no small feat. the ceremony was more detailed and organized than any high school or college graduation I have ever been too. I am only exaggerating a little.

It was pretty much the most adorable thing I have ever seen. Complete with cute scenery, a sound tech guy, songs and a picture slide show. She got to do the traditional graduation walk and even moved the tassel on her little cap when the time was right.

Shout was so proud of herself and when she was handed her diploma and asked what she wanted to be when she grew up her answer was an “Animal Doctor” My other favorite answers from fellow graduates were a Ninja, a superhero, and one little girl said she wanted to be a character at Disneyland.

I love this age and part of me never wants Shout to grow-up and graduate from other grades especially high school. (my mind can’t even process that one right now!)

Last night as the Umpire was putting shout to bed and doing it all wrong in my bossy controlling mom opinion. I whispered to him in the room that if he plays games on his iphone next to shout in her bed she was never going to lose interest and fall asleep. Shout than looked over at me and whispered. “That’s what I was trying to tell him!”

I love her outspoken demeanor and dramatic expressions and most of all I love being her Mom.

We just recently had a preschool graduation too! Of course, technically, he’ll just be going again next year and possibly one more year after that, but it was SUCH a fun program!

It was really great sitting with you at Rodizio last night. Thanks for hanging out with us!
