Utah Truffles
Chocolate is my weakness. I can always call it a good day when it ends with me eating chocolate while relaxing on the couch. Everyone in bed. Nobody bugging me. That is what I call pure bliss!
My favorite kind for the last little while has been mint Utah Truffles. they sell them at a lot of local grocery stores and online. I have been known to make a special trip to grab a couple (or ten) of these yummy treats.
I was so excited when Utah Truffles contacted me to do a review and giveaway of all of there amazing treats because I have been a fan of their truffles for awhile. They sent me a box full to try and It was very tempting not to share but of course I did and we ate it so fast that this was the only photo I took.
Here are some of the amazing chocolates that Utah Truffles make.
What I did not know about Utah truffles is that they also sale chocolate dipped treats. My favorite was the Chocolate dipped Oreos! Other selections include Chocolate dipped cinnamon bears, dipped orange candies and dipped pretzels.
My favorite truffle is still the classic mint but I loved the Dark Chocolate orange, and my girls loved the raspberry.
Seriously this chocolate is so silky smooth and so delicious! Utah Truffles is offering living The scream readers a 30% discount on all orders through their website for the next 30 days when you checkout using the code livingthescream.
They are also giving one of you an enormous supply of assorted chocolates and dipped treats worth $100. Can you imagine how many of your loved ones could enjoy that amount of chocolate? Or how much you could have for your secret stash for only you to enjoy?

Kid’s and Technology
I was on Fresh Living Today on the Mom’s World panel Discussing Kid’s and Technology and at what age kid’s should have a cell phone and internet safety. Such good topics. You can see the segment Here.
Blickenstaff’s Toy Store
A few weeks ago I got the chance to go to a bloggers event at a Toy Store called Blickenstaff”s It was in this really neat shopping area at the River Woods in Provo Utah. I do not find myself in Provo often but when I do I can definitely see myself going to all the fun shops and visiting Blickenstaff’s again of course.
Blickenstaff’s is this very eclectic toy store with every type of toy. My Girls would have been in heaven! Here are a few pictures of all of the neat stuff.
The bulk candy was my favorite. each of us were able to fill a bag with some awesome candy. I even saved some for my girls. (The hardest part was not eating it all)
I loved the variety of games they had. I found a special golden egg and received the game Yam Slam. My family had had a lot of fun playing the game together. Nothing beats family together time right?
I had a lot of fun chatting with some really fun bloggers such as Debbie from Cranberry fries and Michelle from A Little Tipsy And meeting April from Sweet life in the Valley and Lindsay from Cafe Johnsonia and many more fun bloggers!
You can also find Blickenstaff’s on Facebook and Follow them on twitter.
It was definitely a unique shop with something for every one.

Blogging
Today I got the opportunity to be on Fresh Living again and the subject was one of my favorites, Mom Blogging! I was on the program with Stephanie and Sari two awesome blogging ladies. It was a blast.
I wanted to welcome anyone new visiting Living the Scream today and also offer some of my favorite blogging resources for people who are interested in starting a blog or learning more. I highly recommend it!
There is so much info on the internet for blogging, but a site a I really enjoy is SITS The Secret to Success is Support. They live by that motto and have amazing segments on teaching everything abut blogging and they focus a lot on spot lighting blogs and encouraging comments. They also have a blogging Conference called Bloggy Boot Camp that takes place all over. If you ever get the change to go to one totally do it!
This next site I have mentioned before. If you interested in the world of blogging, what other people are doing with there blog, more information about working with brands and so on She posts is it. I love the articles it is such an informative blog!
I love blogging and the much needed break it gives me from all the trauma drama that raising three daughters bring!
Have some great blog resources? Feel free to share them in the comments.
*I am also over at Mommy Moment today.
Brock Best Photography
So I had made a decision that I needed some profile pictures for twitter, facebook, ect. My cartoon was feeling a little impersonal for those things and I wanted people to know that I was actually a real life human being after all.
I happen to have a very talented neighbor Brock Best of Brock Best photography that I talked to about having pictures taken. He not only offered to take my pictures but also of my family. I was so excited. He had us meet him in this amazing location in downtown Salt lake that had all sorts of architecture. My favorite was this wall that had the most beautiful Graffiti.
The thing I like about Brock is how easy going he was. He is very patient with crazy kids and very down to earth. He took so many amazing pictures and you can tell the detail that he puts into editing all of his photos by looking at them. Go check out his portfolio as well. So many of his shots blow me away, the creativity in them is amazing. They are very artistic. Here are a few of the pictures.
Live in Utah and need some family photo’s taken? Brock has an amazing deal to readers of Living the Scream. He is offering Family photo Shoots which will include a full session, a CD, three 8×10′s and four 5×7′s for only $100 dollars! When you contact him just make sure to mention this blog.
**Brock Best photography provided my family and I with a free photo shoot all opinions are my own, as always.
