Crock Pot Meals

I love making crock pot meals! It’s easy, makes the house smell awesome and most importantly tastes GREAT! I probably use my crock pot 2-3 times a week. I have even made desserts and dips using it. It’s just the best!

The Crock pot I have  was a wedding present. That was eight years ago. lets just say it has seen better days, a broken handle and being too small for my growing family. I remember getting the crock pot as a present and thinking I would never use it. Boy was I wrong!

I have been wanting another one for quite some time but wanted to get one that was really good! Some were so expensive.  I settled on one that was tons bigger but inexpensive. 7 quarts versus my other one that was 4.5 quarts. It does not have all the amazing features the other more expensive ones have but it is green and I love it.

First meal I cooked in it was BBQ boneless Country spare ribs. SO GOOD! (I just seasoned the ribs cooked them on low all day then added a bottle of BBQ sauce and had it on low until the BBQ sauce was heated through) adapted from a recipe on Deals to Meals.

I will miss you old beat up flower crock pot but I had to move on, I hope you understand!

Out with the old in with the new.

No Bake Cookie recipe

So I have been enjoying cooking lately, well most of the time. You see I love to cook but a lot of the time right when I start to cook Squeal attaches herself to my legs and cries and I have to do this strange walk around our tiny kitchen so she doesn’t fall. But when she doesn’t do that, cooking is awesome. I am also pretty proud of myself lately and feel very domestic because in the last couple of days I made poppy seed dressing, my own queso sauce and blueberry pancakes (ok I just put blueberries in the krusteez mix, but still!)

I also like to bake. There is a particular kind of cookie that I have been making a lot. it is my favorite. they are easy, not many ingredients and you don’t have to put them in the oven! No Bake cookies. I want to make them every time I need to bring something to a family or church event . But every time I go to take them to someone I look at them and they just don’t look pretty or appetizing at all. They look just like ummmmm Just take a look

See what I mean?

If you do want to make this amazingly YUMMY yet unattractive recipe here is the link.
No Bake Cookie Recipe I also add a dash of salt. SO good My family and I love them.
