GNO at Brio Tuscan Grille

I have not left Squeak very much since she was born. We are pretty much attached to the hip, well actually a little higher up in the chest area. So when I got an invite to a nearby restaurant with a fun group of bloggers I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to have my husband watch the kids and take a little break. A girls night out with awesome food and great company. It was very much needed and enjoyed.

Brio Tuscan Grille is located at the Fashion Place mall in Murray Utah. I had eaten there once before so I knew what I was in for and was excited to try a lot of different dishes. It was delicious! Everything was prepared fresh and the atmosphere was beautiful. They started to bring out appetizers and I was in love. Each one was better than the other. I tried Calimari which I never had before. It was great.

When it came to the main dish I really wanted seafood. I chose a Lobster and shrimp fetticini. It looked amazing and tasted amazing as well. My husband was so excited when I brought some of  my leftovers home for him.  You could tell they used a lot of fresh ingredients. We were later told that a lot of local produce is used as well. Oh and the desserts were so good! I usually don’t eat dessert because I am so full by the end of a meal. I am so glad I tried them! They were so delicious.

As a mom I really like to find family friendly restaurants. While eating at Brio I figured this restaurant would be best for dates with my husband, boy was I wrong. Brio provides the neatest thing for kids and it is free of charge. They will give your kid a small ball of their fresh pizza dough and them them play with it, flatten it out,  and make a pizza, they then get to go over to where the Pizza’a are made pick there ingredients watch it being place in the huge brick oven. A waiter will then bring the pizza they made to them to eat. I tried this out and my pizza was so good! much better than other pizza I am used too. My kids would LOVE this feature. I actually am planning on taking them really soon to try it out.

Here are a few other things I learned about Brio Tuscan Grille

  • They have live music every Wednesday night this summer courtesy of  The Daniel Day Trio.
  • Tuesday July 31st  is National Lasagna day and on this day only you can half price lasagna entree’s at Brio’s.
  • Brio is also offering 10 different Tuscan Tasters like Crispy Shrimp Piccante, Beef Carpaccio, and Margherita flatbread at the bar for only $3.95 each. These are available Monday-Friday 3pm to 7pm and 9pm until close.

To learn more about Brio Tuscan Grille you can follow them on Twitter and like them on Facebook. There are also a lot of other locations besides this one in Utah. To check out if  one is near  you go here.

*I was provided an amazing meal for this review. All mouth watering opinions are my very own.
