Being Sick

I have been sick. I have Pneumonia. While it has been awful I am the kind of person that likes to be positive. So I made a list.

the five things I have liked while being the sickest I have ever been in the entire 29 years I have been alive. (a little dramatic? maybe a tad.)

1. Netflix. It has been my lifesaver especially on my iphone. We don’t have a t.v in our bed room and for two days straight I watched almost 2 entire seasons of Army Wives. I would highly reccomend that show by the way and of course   Netflix

2. Dollars Sprites from Mcdonalds. Seriously why does Sprite from the golden arches taste the best? I have no idea and will not question it.

3. My Husband. Being sick has made me a diva, one night I sent The Umpire to four places to get me soup. I am very glad he still loves me. He has helped with the kid’s and everything else. He definitely deserves props.

4. The color of my Antibiotics: Yes this is strange. But when I opened them and saw my favorite Teal blue color I was happy.

5. My kid’s and their Grandma’s: As you all know it is SO hard to be sick and be a mom. As much as you want them to, kid’s just don’t get it. So I am glad the grandma’s helped me out so much! Props to them as well.

Hope you enjoyed my list. I am feeling much better and will hopefully be blogging more soon! Please nobody get Pneumonia it sucks!

I’m with you on the McDonalds except I’m a coke fan. They have the best cokes around.

    Glad you are getting better.

Being sick stinks! I am glad you are feeling better! Isn’t funny how certain things just seem to make things so much better? I love the soup with the little noodles in the chicken broth. It is so yummy!

    no good!!!

and now I’m a little more worried about my own persistent cough/inability to breathe… I’ve been joking for days about walking pneumonia – but I think it’s probably just the typical asthma/allergies are a little worse since it decided to rain and the desert is actually in bloom! (I know, we’re all in shock too)

    feel better soon!

Being sick is the worst. Ugg. I get your sprite from McDonald’s. I love sweet tea from Chick-fil-a… I don’t think anyone else can hold a torch to it.

So sorry to hear you have been sick but I’m glad you are starting to feel well. Netflix is wonderful sick or not.

Good to hear you gave props to your husband. I’m sure he worked hard to get you that soup.

Sorry you’ve been so sick. But I’m glad you’ve found a few things that can still make you happy. Now get feeling better!

I am sorry your sick, but I have to agree with you on Mickey D’s drinks. They put something in them. Coke from there is THE BEST! AND they give you a BIG one for only a $1. =)

I have been sick for a month with shingles, then complications with the shingles. I got to spend 4 lovely days in your local hospital and now have to be “babysat” by my husband and parents due to being constantly dizzy. I totally hear you about how awesome husbands and grandparents can be. Most of all, I relate to the happiness of having Netflix on my iPod. Oh, how I love wireless internet and the ability to get Netflix in bed! We also don’t have TV in our bedroom, but this has been a perfect solution!

I hope you are feeling better and kicking the pneumonia right out the door!
