My Fashionista’s

My 5 year old Shout can be a little picky in her clothing choices. She has been known to shun a blue outfit because it is too “Bluey” and anything with long sleeves because they bug her arms. Dressing her can be pretty tricky. Most of the time I let her choose what she wants but on days when I want her to look presentable it can be a battle.

I try to deal with this complication with all the energy I have in my exhausted brain and just go with the flow. Mornings are hilarious when we are taking Shriek to school and anything goes in the fashion department because we will be home three seconds later. Here are a few shoe looks we have tried for our short outing.
This is Shout and yes those are both my shoes

This is Squeal wearing Shout’s shoes because it is so overrated to wear your own shoes these days.

Hopefully I never get pulled over because what I wear to take Shriek to school is a whole lot scarier than these creative shoe ensembles I promise you that!

it is a confident mother who can take their kid to the store wearing the outfits they create.

I remember getting some pretty interesting looks when Po (years ago) tagged along in shorts, a cape, and cowboy boots.

and now M (who can usually be found in snowman jammies just like Squeal’s) has taken it upon herself to try my very patience with some of her fashion choices…

I have a little something up on my sidebar I think you will be thrilled about. Or horrified.

My four year old daughter wears the best outfits! I find myself wishing I could be so bold…maybe not bold enough for red, purple, and pink leopard print all in one…but bold!

My 2 year old son only wears shirts with cars on them…sigh…I do A LOT of laundry.

I love seeing what little girls consider “high fashion”… so cute.
