Picture Recap of Evo

I have so much to say about attending Evo this past weekend that I wanted to break it into a couple of posts. I thought I would share some pictures of some people I met for today. I really wish I would have taken more pictures because I met so many wonderful new people.

Me and Jenny On The Spot

One of the hands on workshops I took was on vlogging. The teachers were amazing and instead of just telling us about it half way through the class, they split us up into groups to actually vlog (I will have video to share of that later) I was in Jenny’s group. I was so excited to meet her. She is so sweet and fun. It was a blast. I learned so much from her. They gave us a vlogging homework assignment that I will be happy to share in the near future.

Me, Lady of Perpetual Chaos, Victoria, and Stephanie.

These are a few of my favorite Utah blog friends. I love that so many local bloggers came. It was fun to chat and catch up. The atmosphere at Evo was so laid back and fun.

Even though I only live about thirty minutes from Park City, I stayed at the Grand Summit Hotel with 6 other bloggers. It was beyond fun and nice to socialize so much! I think I got to do more gabbing with friends than I have done in a whole year (probably not, but it felt that way)As soon as I find pictures of my room mates, I will post them.

At the very end of Evo at the closing party sponsored by Together Counts, I heard someone say to everyone that the pool jump was going to be soon. I knew this was a tradition to jump in the pool with all of your clothes on. I just did not think I was going to do it, but my husband talked me into it and I am so glad he did! It was so much fun. A really cool experience.

Here is all of us getting ready to jump.

Yeah so this is not my favorite picture of me but I thought it captured how much fun I was having. It really is freeing to do something you normally would never do with a bunch of fun amazing people.

All of us in our beautiful towel head glory.

Me and Jyl

So glad I snagged Jyl for this picture. There is so much I could go on and on about: the sponsors, the swag, the speakers, the food. I definitley will mention those  things  in another post.

Here is one last picture of my girls looking through all the swag I brought home for them. I don’t know what they were more excited for, me coming home or all the cool treats I got them.

    Hi Carly,

Good for you for taking the plunge. I didn’t stick around for that one as I had already checked out and was lugging all my *stuff* home. But I’m glad you had such an awesome time. I did too and I want to update my poor neglected blog, but I’ve been stamping like crazy to try and get ready for the four-day Stampin’ Up! Convention tomorrow. Then I can blog about BOTH events afterwards! That’s why we call it Adrian’s Crazy Life!

:( that’s my sad face… I have GOT to figure out how to be a better blogger and still be a good mom/wife… I can’t ever seem to get away for the time (or have the $) to attend more conferences…

but now it’s a goal – because people who are willing to jump fully clothes into a pool are my kind of peeps!
